Raquel Barnard

Raquel is Katelyn's undergraduate college roommate, turned close friend and sister-in-law to be! Over the last two years since she and her family have moved to Utah, Raquel and Katelyn have taken turn hosting all the family events, dinners, holidays, and girls nights. This has been a joy to do with her best friend. Raquel and the Best Man introduced the Bride and Groom in April 2017 at Holly's Lighthouse Cafe in Monterey, California.

Elias Barnard

Eli is Freyr's twin brother and right hand man. Eli and Freyr have a healthy level of competition but ultimately are each others greatest fan. The brothers enjoy bonding over backpacking trips, Magic the Gathering, and their love of education and problem solving. Katelyn and Freyr's love story began when Eli invited his brother to visit for Christmas in 2017 and the couple met for the second time in Annapolis, Maryland. 

Breanna Kjesbo

Breanna is Katelyn's younger sister who the couple has affectionately dubbed 'Bring-a-Bre' as she is often accompanying them on their travels and adventures. While Katelyn and Breanna do nearly everything together, 'Brizzle' and 'Frizzle' are two peas in a pod. Freyr says that Breanna is like the sister he never had.

Colette Riley

Colette and Freyr met in high school and over time, Colette has become one of Freyr’s most cherished friends. They have shared many fun and exciting adventures over the years. Colette has been a great friend and inspiration to Freyr as they have grown up.

Haley Esquer

Haley is Katelyn's youngest sister. The sisters' favorite childhood memories include choreographed dance and singing around the house with one another. Haley and Freyr quickly bonded over their shared passion for technology and video games. The couple loves spending time with their youngest sibling, bonding over dark humor, and learning new things.

Michael Thomas

Michael and Freyr have been close friends for a what seems to be a lifetime. The pair have built a foundation of memories and stories that would keep people entertained for hours. When these two spend time together, even after years apart, it is like no time has passed. Freyr has always been able to rely on Michael’s support and unwavering friendship.

Stephanie Rondberg

Stephanie is Katelyn's high school best friend. After attending Northern Arizona University together, the two remained close despite living in different states for the last 5 years. Katelyn was honored to be a bridesmaid in Stephanie's wedding to her husband, Matthew, in January of this year. Katelyn is grateful to have her oldest friend by her side on the big day!

Aaron Hettinger

Aaron and Freyr first met at work 6 years ago, hired only one week apart from each other. If you know anything about Freyr, you know how passionate he is about his profession and personal development. As their careers have flourished, Aaron has been an invaluable friend, mentor, and support to Freyr to achieve his goals and milestones. The pair have bonded outside of work over their love of cars, technology, and video games. 

Aspen Barnard

Aspen is the couples favorite (...and only, but don't tell her that!) niece. She is a charismatic, witty, and hilariously curious kiddo that spends time with the couple regularly. Auntie Katelyn and "Auntie" Freyr are so excited to have her included in their special day!
